A Prosthetic and Orthotics Support Distribution Camp was organized at the Rehabilitation Therapy Centre, Madhapur, Kendrapara, with the support of Banchanidhi Das and Smt. Devi Charitable Trust. During the camp, prosthetic and assistive devices were distributed to children with disabilities. A total of 10 children with cerebral palsy benefited from the programme

The special programme was attended by Shri Ajambar Mohanty, Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad, as the Chief Guest. Shri Nanda Kishor Behura, District Social Security Officer, and Shri Bhubanmohan Das, Board Member of Banchanidhi Das and Smt. Devi Charitable Trust, attended as Guests of Honour.

Biraja Routray, Founder and Chief Advisor of the Rehabilitation Centre, expressed gratitude to Professor Emeritus Dr. Debendra Kumar Das of the University of Alaska, USA, for extending support in providing these assistive devices to 20 children with cerebral palsy in two phases.

The programme was also attended by Shri Girija Shankar Khuntia and Smt. Rashmibala Behera, Senior Occupational Therapists of SMRG Foundation, a prosthetic manufacturing organization based in Bhubaneswar; Rachita Jena, Therapist of PUNARBASA; and members Bansidhar Mohanty, Jyotiranjan Nayak, Mohammed Shahid Khan, Ajit Samal, Sanjib Kumar Jena, and Ranjan Kumar.
