In view of the large gathering of devotees and visitors on the occasion of the famous Rath Yatra in the Tulasi Kshetra region, an awareness stall has been set up at Rath Danda by PUNARBASA, an organisation working for persons with disabilities.

Along with the distribution of various handbills aimed at creating awareness about the legal rights of persons with disabilities, the stall also displays the new Disability Act, illustrated booklets explaining different systems and schemes, and several disability-related publications written in simple and accessible language for the general public.

The latest edition of PUNARBASA SAMACHAR, the only bilingual English and Odia bi-monthly newspaper dedicated to disability issues, is also available at the stall for readers

Rehabilitation Assistant Secretary Bansidhar Mohanty and Pratap Swain, along with staff members Sanjib Kumar Jena, Mihir Ranjan Barik, and Ranjan Swain, are managing the activities of the stall.
