On the occasion of Swabhiman Divas on 28th April, 2024 celebrated as the birth anniversary of Utkal Gaurab Madhusudan Das. In order to make few talented economically poor youths of Kendrapara district to excel in their respective field, a sponsorship cum financial support programme was held in the therapy centre of PUNARBASA, Kendrapara. Eminent Writer and Educationalist Dr. Rama Chandra Behera, who was also the former President of Odisha Sahitya Academy graced the occasion as the Hon’ble Chief Guest along with International Para sports person Prafulla Khandayatray as Hon’ble guest. On this occasion of Swabhiman Divas with the pledged to enable the potential differently abled youth of Kendrapara district to lead a life for fulfilling of their dream and live with dignity with their unique identity, the organisation extended its sponsorship support and financial support for one year to one locomotor challenged meritorious students namely Baraj Kumar Das of village-Sankapada, Mahakalpada @ 4000/- rupees per month towards monthly living expenses and to Monali Swain one National Para swimmer of village- Narendrapur, Aul, Kendrapara @ 5000/- per month towards her monthly living expenses in Bhubaneswar for practising swimming in the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar. On this occasion two sponsorship letter was handed over to these PwD talents by the Hon’ble guest present. Among others, the District Social Security Officer Pravash Chandra Das and distinguished dignitaries were remaining present.
