The exclusive bi-monthly bi-lingual newspaper the Punarbasa Samachar was released today.

The special festive coloured issue of the exclusive bi-monthly bi-lingual newspaper for different levels" The Punarbasa Samachar" was released today at the therapy centre of the organisation at Madhapur, Kendrapara.

The release ceremony was priested over the chef editor of the newspaper Dr. Biraja Routray. During the occasion emanate popular physician Dr Biswa Prakash Kanungo joined as the honourable guest. He appreciated this unique effort of the organisation in creating awareness among the differently able community through this paper.

Emanate journalist and district correspondence of leading Odia newspaper Sri Jagannath Dhal, Sri Somonath sahoo, Sri Jiban Singh not only emphasized but also praised this innovative way of Catering and reflecting the news and stories of persons with disabilities of our society.

Chief editor Sri Routray apprised all about the specific goals and objectives of this newspaper. He informed that as per 2011 sense the total disability amount in India was nearly 3 Percent of total population based on the 7 types of disability. In the main time 14 new types of disability have been added and the total number touched to 21 as per the newly enacted disability law. The news sense has not been over, it's presumed that a hope more than 5 crore people of India will come with in the new 21 parameters of disability. This big chunk of vulnerable people are almost far away from mainstream media. To represent their story and struggle and various rehabilitation intervention centres, technological progress and plans and programs at government level, Para sports activities and also pronouncement are the goal and objectives to reach out to this community. In that way informative knowledge can also be shared with them to be aware and facilitate their connection to the outer world.

During this program many intellectuals, retired administrative officers, social workers and members of the organisation PUNARBASA were present the team assisted in compiling this beautiful edition of special newspaper Sri Pratap Swain, Manoj Biswal, Priyanka Priyadarshini Swain and Sanjib Jena were also present.
