Mega Physiotherapy Camp organized by PUNARBASA -

On the occasion of 8th September, World Physiotherapy Day, a Mega Physiotherapy Camp has been organized at Amar Garden, Madhpur in the city in collaboration with the Department of Post Graduate Physiotherapy of Rehabilitation and Nirtar, Oltpur.

Samprathi Physiotherapy provides successful therapeutic treatment for nerve, bone, spine and musculoskeletal pains ranging from ailments arising from our changed lifestyle habits. It is gaining popularity as it can cure pain in a completely physical exercise method without side effects.

This mega camp organized by PUNARBASA, an established institution providing physiotherapy re-habilitation services in Kendrapara district for more than 15 years, was inaugurated by Hon'ble MLA of Kendrapara Mr. Ganeshwar Behera.

A total of 130 patients from Kendrapara city and neighboring areas were given therapy treatment in this camp. Fifteen trained specialized therapists of Nirtar Physiotherapy Department of Neurology, Pediatrics and Rehabilitation provided the necessary therapy to each of the patients along with the therapy rating.

The registration started from 8 am and the camp continued till 2 pm.

On behalf of the rehabilitation committee, the members of the management committee were Banshidhar Mohanty, Jyot Ranjan Naik, Shiv Charan Samal Akharadev Prasad Das, Shamashree Mohanty, Swapnashu Kumar Das, Prashant Kumar Singh, Mohammad Zahid Khan, Laksha Chaudhuri, Prafulla Behera, Samvit Srichandan.

Rehabilitation therapists Chandan Kumar Jena, Kamalkant Biswal, Gunjansmita Behera, Sanjib Kumar Jena, Ranjan Kumar Swain, Mihir Ranjan Barik, Gayatri Pai, Dipak Kumar Sahoo, Manoj Biswal, Gautam Sahu and Villager Rashmita Singh were instrumental in registration and arrangement.

Nirtar, Olatpur, Director Prof. Kail Pavan Mohanty expressed his gratitude to Birja Routray, Chief Advisor, Rehabilitation, for contributing to this physiotherapy camp and the residents of Kendrapara area benefited from the excellent therapy services at hand.
