Distribution of Computers to Active YOUTH PwDs dt-17.10.2024:

In a special program, computers and assistive devices have been provided to four young disabled entrepreneurs who are continuing their efforts to become self-reliant by starting small enterprises on behalf of rehabilitation.

Sachikant Mallik of Palli Raghunathpur, Balaram Sway of Haria, Syed Alli of Dilwarpur in Kendrapada and Arjun Kumar Naik of Marshaghai Aathabatia, who suffered from an accident or disability due to any reason, have been given a dignified self-reliant life by the institute.

Mr. Guru Prasad Mohanty, Chairman, Kendrapada Urban Cooperative Bank, was the chief guest in the program, which was moderated by Birja Routray, Chief Rehabilitation Adviser, Deputy Superintendent Ms. Shanta Nutan Sampad as guest of honor, along with eminent social worker Gayatri Mohanty expressed the opinion that strong morale among people with disabilities not only enables them to succeed but also creates an inspirational story for others.

On this occasion Mr. Routray requested the Chief Guest to provide low interest loans from Urban Bank to such disabled young entrepreneurs of Kendrapara district.

Among others, Nirmal Dhal, a paraplegic from Rajnagar, Amaresh Jena from Kor and Amiya Biswal from Ichhapur joined the majors and shared their stories of success in their own micro-organizations.

Rehabilitation activists Swapnanshu Kumar Das, Seshadev Prasad Das, Nrusingh Tripathy, Laxmikant Nayak, Kshirod Kar, Sanjay Kumar Jena, Gautam Sahu, Sanjib Kumar Jena, Manoj Kumar Biswal, Mihir Ranjan Barik, Deepak Kumar Sahu and Gayatri Prusty contributed and facilitated the rehabilitation.

In the end, Banshidhar Mohanty, Asst. Secretary of PUNARBASA gave vote of thanks.
